These 6 tips will extend your battery life and give you are more satisfying vaping experience

When you're enjoying the smokeless nicotine of your VaporFi e-cigarette, you don't think much about battery life. Our e-cig batteries are made of lithium-ion polymer, which last much longer than their disposable predecessors, and they're rechargeable. Nonetheless, they eventually wear out and require replacement. Whether you are using a manual or automatic model vaporizer, proper battery care will extend its charge capacity, and save you some cash.

1. Lithium-Based E-Cigarette Battery Charging

VaporFi's standard lithium-based batteries are set to a single voltage output of 4.2 volts and and offer the best performance on the market—delivering a powerful throat hit every time. The battery activates the cartomizer (heating element) to create the flavor-rich nicotine vapor. Lithium-batteries hold charges for long periods of time, which is why they are used in vaporizers and cell phones.

It is often recommended that the batteries be charged for a full 8 hours before the first use. The suggestion mainly applies to older nickel-based batteries which do require a full 8-hour charge before use, but lithium batteries get no benefit from charging this length of time – all you need to do is make sure the battery is fully charged before using.

Once you're finished charging your battery, unplug the charger from your electrical outlet - you'll save a little on your utility bill.

VaporFi offers different e-cigarette batteries—from the Express Battery that produces massive amounts of vapor to the Pro Battery 1000 mAh and high-capacity batteries with a single charge that can for last days!

There is no easy answer for how long a single charge on any battery will last. The battery's age, how strongly you inhale, the surrounding temperature, and more factors determine the single charge capacity.

2. Use Your E-cig Battery Regularly

Lithium-ion batteries are used in our vaporizers because they are powerful, designed to be used daily, and are rechargeable. The more a lithium-ion battery performs, the easier power flows through its cells.

Always use a fully charged battery. If the battery is not fully charged it must work harder to deliver the power needed for vaping. The harder it has to work, the quicker it dies.

3. Storage of Your E-cig Battery

Heat and direct sunlight can significantly affect the lithium-ion battery lifespan. Electricity and water don't mix, so keep your e-cigarette and its battery away from humidity. Keep your spare batteries stored in a cool, dry place.

It's best to store batteries with a full charge. If you store them with 50-percent or less charge, they will drain faster.

If you won't be using your e-cig for an extended period of time, detach the cartomizer. The cartomizer contains the heating element and nicotine e-liquid. When it's connected to the battery, it's draining a little bit of charge. By disconnecting the cartomizer and battery you extend the time between charges, the number of recharges you can do, and the battery replacement time.

4. Change Your E-Cigarette Battery Before Its Dead

Recharge your battery when you begin to notice a loss in power. It's much easier to recharge a battery with some juice left in it rather than trying to charge one that's completely drained.

Experienced vapers keep a rotation of batteries on hand for continuous vapor smoking.

5. Keep E-cig Cartomizer and Battery Threads Clean

It's important that the threads between the battery and the cartomizer stay clean. Dust, grime, and moisture can build up and ruin the battery. Use a cotton swab to periodically clean the threads where your cartomizer and battery join.

6. Don't Overfill with E-Liquid

A common mistake is overfilling your vaporizer with too much e-liquid. Battery terminals are open and exposed on automatic vaporizer models when you refill the tank. If the e-liquid leaks onto the battery, it could block the electrical circuit, damaging the battery and rendering your vaporizer useless.

Pour your e-liquid slowly. Stop once you reach the top.

We recommend that you stock up on batteries and keep fully-charged ones on hand to enjoy uninterrupted vaping.
