A Little More About Louis Taylor
Louis "Put the Guns Down" Taylor is an exceptionally talented, well-rounded kind of guy. Standing at 5’ 11", 185 lbs, Taylor brings an amazing skillset to the fight. At age 37, he has certainly made his rounds in the professional MMA circuit, and he is literally, quite indomitable. Undefeated since 2012, in every fight he goes as hard as he can, playing as much mental game as physical, demonstrating an inhuman level of confidence and comfort when in the cage. A former Bellator and Strikeforce fighter, Taylor has seems to have found a particularly enjoyable groove since signing with World Series of Fighting.
Chicago born and raised, he began his career wrestling while attending Eastern Illinois University. This was the ideal transition into mixed martial arts, which was the perfect match for his ability and mental agility. He went professional in 2007, and has continued to make quite the name for himself over the years. Currently, Taylor trains with the Chicago Fight Team association, and fights with the World Series of Fighting.
