A Little Background on Maki Maleko-Pitolo
Making his VFC debut in April, 2016, he currently stands at a 7 – 2 in wins and losses, and at 5’ 9", 170 lbs, Pitolo is stoked to represent the VFC’s latest promotion as a legit welterweight.
Born and raised in Waianae, located on Oahu’s West Side, Maki Maleko-Pitolo’s roots embody the spirit of Hawaiian culture. By nature, he is a lifelong athlete, and one who brings an incredible level of athleticism and agility to the table. He played football initially, later transitioned to kickboxing, and then acquired disciplines such as wrestling, Jiu Jitsu, and Muay Thai into his athletic regiment in order to maintain his cardio. Ultimately, this lead him to find his true calling and what appears to be a promising career as an MMA fighter.

Maki’s training regimen is a rigorous one, and includes daily strength/conditioning workouts, Jiu Jitsu, sparring, along with supplemental methods of training. He is at once a warrior and a hunter; when opposing a component in the cage, he zeros in with laser-focus, stopping at nothing to come out on top.
