The VAIO Series

The VAIO series is a unique kind of vaporizer from the VaporFi catalog. Technically, this is an all-in-one device, so there is already an integrated tank, but that doesn't mean it is the best tank for the device. VaporFi knew consumers would be looking for ways to change things up, so they included a handy tank adapter. While the VAIO itself includes a 3.5-milliliter tank, the adapter makes it possible to pair your VAIO with the following accessories:

• Vulk

Of these options, the Venom RDA is one of the most popular because it changes your device into a drip-able piece, and it offers some of the best airflow controls around.

On the subject of drip tips, you'll find that you have numerous options. While the device does come with a custom removable drip tip that is specific to the VAIO, it can also be changed out. The drip tip that comes with the VAIO is meant to improve airflow as you draw from the built-in tank. However, if you're adding a tank on top, you may prefer one of VaporFi's Delrin drip tips instead. These are available in a wider bore than the regular VAIO tip, which offers less resistance and more vapor.

The VOX Series

For the VOX MOD collection, things get a little bit easier to pick out. Since the VOX is offered in a starter kit that includes a vape tank, it is clear that VaporFi has set forth their recommendations for tank options. The Volt 2 tank comes with the kit standard, which is a great place to start. However, they also offer two upgrades for the starter kit at a slight upcharge: the VSix or the Vulk. To be clear, the Volt 2 is more than adequate for giving you great performance from any of the VOX devices. It is a hybrid tank, which means you can use it with either pre-built atomizers or you can strip it down to the buildable deck and wrap your own coils. If anything, the Volt 2 really helps you grow into your VOX.

On the other hand, the VSix is a high-capacity tank built with temperature control in mind. At 6.0 ml it is very large, and it comes with more coil options than many other tanks out there. The Vulk, by contrast, is the ultimate sub-ohm tank. If you're looking for massive clouds, this is a great choice for the VOX family and comes highly recommended.

Aside from the three tanks selected by VaporFi as prime candidates for the VOX, it also happens to be compatible with these other options as well:

As far as drip tips go, your choices are pretty wide open. There is a special tip just for the Vulk that helps dissipate heat from the Vulk tank better. It's made of Delrin and is very durable while also being pretty inexpensive so you can stock up.

The VEX Series

The VEX MOD series is widely regarded as the most advanced device in the VaporFi lineup. The temperature control and personalization options are second to none. That being said, VaporFi has put forth four suggestions for tanks that they believe are the best for the VEX. The starter kit comes with your choice of the Vibe or the Venom. The Vibe is a versatile 3.5-ml sub-ohm tank that truly takes advantage of the VEX's full temperature control spectrum. On the other hand, the Venom is a rebuildable drip atomizer that can change the characteristics of this device to make it easier for you to control incrementally.

In addition to the two tanks mentioned above, you may purchase the VEX with one of two upgraded tank options: the Viper or the Vulk. We discussed the Vulk briefly under the VOX series because it is also available in that kit. However, the Viper is a premium sub-ohm tank with a larger 4.0-ml capacity and both top and bottom airflow controls. This is truly a premium add on to an already spectacular build.

Of course, like the VOX, the VEX series is also compatible with a wider range of tanks, including:

• Volt 2

Delrin drip tips also seem to be the most favorable mouthpieces for these, simply because the VEX series goes up to 150 watts, which means that there is even more heat to be managed. If you really need help with that, VaporFi also has a nice airflow-inducing tip that comes with extra airflow slots to cool things down.

The VOX Mini

The VOX Mini shares many of the characteristics of its namesake predecessor, but there are some special considerations when choosing a tank. Since the Mini is so compact, you need to find a tank that is small enough to fit properly without protruding over the edges. In addition, the VOX Mini is not set up with a ton of power adjustments available to the user, so the range of atomizers you can use is limited.

The VOX Mini starter kit actually comes with the Volt Hybrid Tank to start. As mentioned above, this is a very versatile tank that will serve vapers of any type by allowing you to switch between pre-made atomizers and wrapping your own coils. Of course, since you only have 40W to work with, there is only one style of atomizer that works in the Volt Hybrid for this device.

Beyond the Volt, the VOX Mini is also compatible with:

Given the smaller size of the VOX Mini, most people choose to stick to the mouthpiece that normally comes with the Volt. It's small and compact for easy transport. However, if you upgrade to a different tank, you can add a tip of your choosing. You're less likely to need a hefty Delrin tip since there is less heat being produced from this device in the first place.

The Rebel 3

Being that the Rebel 3 is a pen-style vape instead of a box mod, the tank you choose will most likely be the Rebel 3 Tank. The Rebel 3 Tank is designed to fit the Rebel 3 battery base precisely. Plus it offers a 5.8-ml capacity, which is more than enough for most vapers, and among the highest capacity tanks out there today. You really couldn't ask for a better combination. While the Rebel 3 battery is designed to work exclusively with the Rebel 3 tank, the tank itself is actually compatible with other devices, so you can carry it over in the future.

The mouthpiece on this one is also a short, super-wide-bore stainless steel tip that works very well with the top and bottom airflow controls to deliver excellent vapor production. You wouldn't want to change much about this system.
